Who am I?
Hi and welcome!
I’m Anne, founder of We Are Croissant, and a marketer who’s spent the past decade living somewhere between creativity and organized chaos.
I’ve built my career across Europe and the Middle East, leading brand strategy, production workflows, and digital campaigns for my freelance businesses, startups, agencies and global brands alike.
I’ve led and trained teams, spoken on panels, built brands from the ground up, launched high-impact content across cultures and learned that great business strategy starts with one thing: clarity.
Born French, married American and now based in the Netherlands, I bring a multicultural, bilingual perspective to everything I do. At home, I’m raising two trilingual little girls who love pastries possibly even more than I do, if you can believe it.
Why “We Are Croissant”?
I started We Are Croissant because in business, like in life, and in baking, strong foundations are essential to sustainable growth.
I decided to lean into this to develop my next professional pursuit after a decade of corporate work and hone in on systems building, specifically to help women entrepreneurs and business owners to scale even further.
In this process of finding out what to do next, I realized: I do enjoy turning complicated into simple. I love to take a deep dive into a business’ settings and figuring out where to streamline, delegate or automate to gain time (and money!) without burning out.
After experimenting with AI tools and setting up automated workflows I found that when a system clicks, and you see tasks running automatically, it feels like the smell of freshly baked croissants on Christmas morning - a type of high that is hard to describe.
That feeling of effortless efficiency is the gift I want to share in my mission to reduce even a tiny bit of the crushing mental load.

If you even need to ask, I don’t think we can work together :) But mostly because they’re delicious. Also, in French, “croissant” also means “growing.” Which sums it up, really: layered growth with a bit of butter on top.

Absolutely. Most of my work is remote, and I collaborate with clients across Europe and beyond. I speak both English and French and thanks to good systems (and timezone awareness), distance is never a problem.
